BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) — The East Baton Rouge Parish School System is looking for a new superintendent – again.

Citing her declining health, Leslie Brown, 62, resigned as chief of the system, just weeks after she announced she was taking emergency medical leave.

Details about her medical condition were not released. Brown’s husband sent the resignation letter to the school system on her behalf.
