NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) – Fleurty Girl of New Orleans T-shirt and culture fame has something new for the little ones – a toy crawfish boiling kit.

The “kit” comes with an 11-inch pot and strainer with a real metal handle, a real wooden paddle, eight plastic crawfish, two potatoes, one corn and one seasoning packet. Visit her website for more details.

Fleurty Girl, also known as Lauren Leblanc, made a name for herself after the Metairie native started an online T-shirt business that quickly grew into a brick and mortar store on Oak Street. She launched her business in 2009, the same year the Saints went to the Super Bowl and the NFL tried to get Fleurty Girl to stop selling shirts with the phrase “Who Dat” on them.

She fought the NFL – and won. Now, Fleurty Girl has four locations in the New Orleans area and a show room on St. Charles Avenue.
