NEW ORLEANS (WGNO)- On your marks, get set, it’s almost time to go run in this Saturday’s Crescent City Classic!  If you’re looking for some cool running gadgets to track your performance, News with a Twist Reporter Kenny Lopez has got you covered!

1.  Fitbit Surge

“The Fitbit Surge is an activity tracker which tracks your steps, tracks your calories, and goes beyond that with a heart rate monitor, and it tracks your sleep,”  Nero said.

2. Fitbit Alta

“The Fitbit Alta is different from the Fitbit Surge because of the styling.  You can change out the wristband for exercising at the gym and then change it out for going out or going to work,” he said.

3. Garmin Vivosmart

“The unique thing about the Garmin Vivosmart is you still will get your message notifications, while you’re working out,” Nero said.

4. UP2 by Jawbone

“The UP2 by Jawbone is also an activity tracker, but this one comes with a smart coach that will give you insight and coach you on what you could be doing better.  For example, if you haven’t moved in awhile it will tell you to get up and move,”  he said.
