NEW ORLEANS (WGNO)- The Krewe of Tucks also brought people out on the Uptown route Saturday. All these folks wanted was to catch some toilet paper, plungers and some of Tucks’ other silly throws!
WGNO Reporters Kenny Lopez and Tyler Wing got the opportunity of a lifetime — getting to ride on the “50 Shades of Grey” parody float.
This year Tucks revealed four new floats and Float #15 captain, Tim Estabrook said Tucks will never lose its wonderful sense of humor.
“Tucks is the parade to be a part of. We don’t take ourselves too seriously. We throw like nobody’s business,” he said.
And get this — Love was definitely in the air for two riders on the parade, which happened to fall on Valentine’s Day. Josh Hussey proposed to his girlfriend Sarah Edwards in between throwing the sought after plungers.
