NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — New Orleans police say a man was shot and killed Tuesday night in the St. Claude neighborhood.
According to police, the shooting happened in the 1600 block of Desire Street at about 9:40. They’re reporting just one victim and he died at the scene.
Police say the man had been shot several times.
The scene is outside of a diner at the corner of Desire and Claiborne Avenue. Police are blocking at least a portion of Claiborne while they conduct their investigation.
