NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) – Do you use Waze to help you get around town? There’s more help coming your way soon.

Fortune reports that the Google-owned navigation and mapping app will offer a “difficult intersections” setting to help drivers avoid the more aggravating intersections in town, unless passing through the difficult intersection is the quickest way to go.

The app has already rolled out the feature in Los Angeles. New Orleans will be the second city where Waze tries out the new setting.

In Los Angeles, Waze is using the help of locals and city officials to calculate the most difficult intersections. The new feature hopes to strike a balance between avoiding the worst intersections in town and finding the fastest, most efficient route.
