NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) – The NFL decided Tuesday which cities would host Super Bowls 53, 54, 55. New Orleans was in the running for Super Bowl 53 which would be held in 2019. They lost the bid to Atlanta.
Sports Illustrated reporter Peter King predicted that would be the case, pointing to the fact that Atlanta is building a new stadium. The new Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta will open in 2017.
Other cities that won Tuesday are South Florida and Lost Angeles. They will host Super Bowl 54 and 55.
