NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) – Positive messages will once again be written in the sky across New Orleans this weekend. You may remember the messages last year of LOVE, HOPE, and PRAYER.
The company, Positive Sky, will be back both Saturdays and Sundays of Jazz Fest 2016.
This year’s theme with headliner Stevie Wonder will be CO-EXIST with a HOPE and PRAYER to end racism. FREEDOM will also be written in the sky to uphold the VALUES of TRUTH and TRUST in the United States.
Philanthropist Frank Scurlock says some messages this weekend will also pay tribute to Prince and to the wife of an NOPD officer who died of cancer last week.
Positive Sky is based out of Flightline First at Lakefront airport. The plane used for this year’s messages will be Sky Dancer and piloted by Nate Hammond.
Each day there will be 3 sets of positive, uplifting message of approximately 22 letters each flight.
So look up this weekend and next to catch the positive messages.
