NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) – The NOPD is trying to locate 19-year-old Aizzaldeen Abaulia, who is wanted for Impersonating a Police Officer and Simple Robbery.
The incident happened on August 21, 2015, at the Mardi Gras Truck Stop and Casino on Elysian Fields Avenue. The victim said that he saw flashing police lights in his rearview mirror when he pulled into the parking lot. Abaulia identified himself as a police officer and told the victim to empty his pockets.
Detectives successfully identified Aizzaldeen Abaulia as the suspect and have obtained an arrest warrant for Impersonating a Police Officer and Simple Robbery.
