NEW ORLEANS — The NOPD is investigating a homicide in the 3600 block of Erato.
Responding officers found a man sitting in the drivers seat of a dark gray SUV suffering from a gunshot wound to the head just after 6 a.m.
He was pronounced dead on the scene.
Investigators believe the man was shot near the intersection of Rocheblave and Thalia Streets.
