NEW ORLEANS – The NOPD is investigating a double murder that occurred this morning in Gert Town
Two victims were found suffering fatal gunshot wounds just after 8:00 a.m. in the 8200 block of Palmetto Street, according to the NOPD.
An officer conducting a wellness check found the victims, one man and one woman, lying dead on the floor of the apartment, according to the NOPD.
