NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) – The New Orleans Police Department is kicking off its sixth annual Toy Drive today.

Officers will begin collecting toy donations today through December 1 at the Second District station at 4317 Magazine Street.

The NOPD is asking for donations of new and unwrapped toys that they will distribute to children who would not otherwise receive gifts this holiday season, according to a press release.

If you can’t make it to the Magazine Street station, the NOPD will come pick up your donations.

Contact Tierre Hazlewood at (504) 658-6439 or email nopd2nddistrict@nola.gov with your pickup information.
