NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — Following is a statement from Orleans Parish Sheriff’s Office regarding revised visitation policies due to COVID-19:

“The Orleans Parish Sheriff’s Office has temporarily suspended visitation and volunteer access to the Orleans Justice Center due to concerns with the Omicron variant and recent rise in COVID-19 cases in the area. OPSO will advise when visitation is once again permitted.”
