THIBODAUX, La. (WGNO) – A miniature pony went on a little adventure Sunday in Peltier Park.
Thibodaux police the pony broke through its owner’s fence sometime Sunday morning. Authorities started receiving calls around 5:40 a.m., according to the police department’s Facebook page.
For the next two hours, officers tried to contain the miniature pony. A good Samaritan with a horse trailer also stepped up and transported the miniature pony to their ranch until the owner came forward.
The owner contacted the Thibodaux police department around noon Sunday.
