(Grand Isle)- The second annual Hurricane Hole tuna tournament was held Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the Hurricane Hole Marina in Grand Isle. There was an impressive turnout for the second year of the event, which was held originally in late September last year.

Many boats weighed in tuna over 100 pounds, but the prize Yellow fin tuna tipped the scales at 171.2 pounds, caught by Adam Latulle, fishing with Team Dark Horse and winning $10,000. Brad Jones with team Split Decision came in a close second with a 165 pound tuna.

In the Black fin tuna division, the first, second and third place were swept by team Down with the Sickness.

Like last year, conditions were challenging with wind blowing, and 3-5′  occasionally a 6′ waves in the mix.
