NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) – The Red Dress Run is a huge event in New Orleans, but this year’s it was even more special for one New Orleans couple.

Wally Schulingkamp got down on one knee and asked his girlfriend, Rachel Linedlow, to be his bride. (Yes, while sporting a red tie-dye dress and a big, floppy red hat).

Well, she said, “yes” even if he was in a dress!
