NEW ORLEANS (WGNO)- IGNITION Festival 2015 wrapped up this weekend in New Orleans East. Event organizers burned three big art pieces as part of the art and music festival, including a three story tall wooden wookiee. The fest benefited the Intergalactic Krewe of Chewbacchus
Ryan Ballard, with the Intergalactic Krewe of Chewbacchus, said the event was huge success. He said 900 people came out over the course of the festival.
Ballard added next year the fest will be even bigger! The group plans to expand to use more space at FilmWorks New Orleans and add more art pieces.
