Who is he?  The search is on at Touro for this helpful hero.

“All we know is he has dark hair and he was wearing scrubs, and that’s about it,”  Kristen Robinson, marketing director at Touro, said.

They’re looking for this “knight in shining scrubs” because of his kind actions during a recent storm.  They even put this out in their employee newsletter.

“On Monday, May 16th, there was a water main break on Louisiana Avenue and the streets were flooded.  This is the worst flooding we’ve seen here in recent memory,” Robinson said.

Witnesses said they saw a man wearing scrubs talking to a pregnant woman, telling her that he’d help her cross the high waters to make it across the street to the entrance of the hospital, where her doctor’s appointment was.

“Witnesses saw the man take off his shoes, lift up the pregnant woman, while she carried his shoes, and he crossed the high waters, and set her down on dry land on the other side of the street,”  Robinson said.

Touro is looking for this man because of he truly is good Samaritan.

“We want to find this guy for putting Touro’s values in action,” Robinson said.

Touro is asking everyone to post on social media with the hashtag #KnightInShiningScrubs, in hopes that they can find him!
