METAIRIE, La. (WGNO) — Louisiana State Police are investigating an accident involving one of their own on I-10 Eastbound near Clearview Parkway.
The trooper was hit by another vehicle on the driver while trying to cross lanes on I-10 to respond to an accident around 4 p.m. on Thursday.
The trooper was transported to a local hospital where he was treated for moderate injuries and is listed under serious but stable condition.
This accident is still under investigation. No word if the driver of the other vehicle will be cited.
