NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) – Twist reporter Jacqueline Mazur headed over to M.S. Rau Antiques in the French Quarter to check out some serious bling! The idea was to take a look at some amazing pieces of jewelry fit for none other than Hollywood sex symbol Marilyn Monroe herself.
Mazur tried on a diamond and ruby cuff, a 22 carat diamond ring, beautiful white diamond earrings and a white diamond necklace to boot.
“Marilyn said a diamond is a girl’s best friend and you have about a hundred carats of girls’ best friends with you right now,” says M.S. Rau Antiques CEO Bill Rau to Mazur who was decked out with the diamonds.
Rau even commented that Marilyn might be a bit jealous of Mazur’s get up.
