BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — The “hot foods” waiver extension for SNAP, DSNAP and P-EBT recipients ends on Thursday, Oct. 28.
Louisiana DCFS said the waiver applied to “hot food products prepared for immediate consumption” at locations where EBT cards are accepted. The waiver was announced in the aftermath of Hurricane Ida.
