BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — Former LSU Women’s Basketball star Angel Reese was spotted at the 2024 Met Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.
On Monday, Reese attended the Met Gala, an annual fundraiser that benefits the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute. Reese is seen wearing a dress by 16Arlington by London designer Marco Capaldo, according to a Twitter post from the WNBA.
This year’s Met Gala also falls on Reese’s 22nd birthday.
Reese was drafted by the Chicago Sky as the No. 7 overall pick in the 2024 WNBA Draft on April 15.
The Chicago Sky has an upcoming preseason game against the New York Liberty in Chicago at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, May 7. The Sky are coming off a 92-81 preseason loss to the Minnesota Lynx on Friday.
