JEAN LAFITTE, La. (WGNO) — Calling all seafood fans! The Jean Lafitte Seafood Festival is returning to Jefferson Parish again in 2024.
Seafood enthusiasts can make their way to the Jean Lafitte Auditorium and Grounds on April 12, 13 and 14 for a celebration of seafood, music, food and culture.
Jean Lafitte Mayor Tim Kerner said this year’s festival celebrates the town’s 50th anniversary.
“From our world-renowned cuisine, music and seafood to our local artists and wildlife, we are celebrating what makes our town special. We invite everyone to come join us in Lafitte to celebrate,” said Kerner.
Organizers said attendees can expect live music, food, swamp tours, kayak rentals, a kid’s zone and arts walk.
In addition to swamp tours, attendees can also enjoy a wine walk down the town’s Wetland Trace.
According to a news release, the festival will include live music performances from Easton Corbin, Wayne Toups, Al “Lil Fats” Jackson, Todd O’Neill Band, Marc Broussard, Louisiana Landfall, Junior Lacrosse, Rockin’ Dopsie, Them Ol’ Ghosts, Shorts in December, Aaron Foret, Danny Jr. & Shine Soul and Ryan Foret & Foret Tradition.
