THIBODAUX, La. (WGNO) — The City of Thibodaux has been placed under a boil water advisory on Sunday, June 23.
City officials said the advisory comes following a leak at the southeast corner of Percy Brown Road and Acadia Woods Drive.
As of 6 p.m., the advisory impacts all residents and businesses in the city limit east of Bowie Road in the Acadia Woods and Acadia Plantation Subdivision.
City officials initially announced the advisory was in place for businesses and residents in the city limit east of Audubon Avenue at North/South Acadia Road.
They said crews are working to repair the leak and the advisory will remain in effect in the impacted areas until further notice.
