Bobcat kittens find new home at New Orleans’ Audubon Zoo

NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — Two bobcat kittens have found a new home at the Audubon Zoo.

According to a news release, the two bobcat kittens, named “Creole” and “Chinchuba,” were found as orphans earlier this month and brought to the Audubon Zoo.

The release states that before arriving at the zoo, the two kittens were cared for at the Wildlife Care of Southern California rehabilitation center.

Although the bobcat kittens are close in age, Audubon Nature Institute leaders said they are not brothers.

They said the bobcats can be found in the zoo’s Louisiana Swamp exhibit, and zoo-goers “can see them spending time together playing, climbing, leaping and actively exploring their exhibit.”
