NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — Happening Tuesday, Feb. 20, 50 Dillard University students will participate in a STEM event hosted by Microsoft in partnership with the NFL.

Students will have the chance to participate in the interactive course “Introduction to Generative Artificial Intelligence” conducted by STEM Nola.

The event is an extension of Microsoft’s sponsorship of the HBCU Combine being held in New Orleans.

New Orleans Saints Defensive end Cam Jordan is expected to make an appearance and speak to the attending students.

In an effort to combat the digital divide, Microsoft leaders said they will donate 50 Surface Laptop Go 3s to students.

The event will be held at 2601 Gentilly Blvd. from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. and will also include partnerships with the New Orleans Saints, Southern Communities Initiative and Urban League of Louisiana.
