BELLE CHASSE, La. (WGNO) — With the New Orleans Air Show days away, WGNO got a behind-the-scenes look at what it’s like to fly in one of the U.S. Navy Blue Angels jets.

WGNO’s Curt Sprang and key influencer Heather West took flight at the Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base New Orleans on Wednesday, March 20, ahead of the event.

Sprang and West went through a safety briefing before suiting up for the 45-minute flights.

The New Orleans Air Show will take place on March 23 and March 24.
