BELLE CHASSE, La. (WGNO) — Feeling the need for speed? The New Orleans Air Show is soaring back to Belle Chasse for 2024!
According to the event website, the 2024 air show will feature flights from the U.S. Navy Blue Angels.
On March 23 and 24, aviation enthusiasts can head to the Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base New Orleans for a weekend of fun, including some of America’s top military and civilian aviators, plane and military equipment displays, a kid’s zone and more.
WGNO’s Curt Sprang will fly in a Blue Angels jet on Wednesday, March 20, ahead of the event.
“People can tell you what to expect, but nothing can really prepare you for the experience,” said Sprang.
The Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base New Orleans is located at 400 Russell Ave. in Belle Chasse. Event parking and admission are free.
