Bayou Terrebonne Boucherie to return to Terrebonne Parish for fourth year

GRAY, La. (WGNO) — The Bayou Terrebonne Boucherie is bringing Cajun culture and flavors back to Terrebonne Parish for a fourth year.

On March 2, attendees can make their way to the banks of Bayou Terrebonne for an event featuring live music performances, community spirit and traditional Cajun foods.

The event will include live music performances at two stages from Adam Pearce, Caleb Lapeyrouse & The Drivers, Nonc Nu & The Wild Matous, Travis Matte & The Zydeco Kingpins and No Posers.

In addition to music, organizers said those in attendance can also participate in the Cajun Olympics,

They said the Cajun Olympics will include a pirogue race, nail drive, duck call, chicken chase and barrel toss.

When it comes to food, organizers said attendees can look forward to “mounds” of pork, boudin, gratons white beans and more.

The event is free to the public and lasts from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
