NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) – Loyola University is very proud of one of its graduates.  Rapper G Eazy made the Forbes list for “30 under 30.”  Six hundred of the brightest young innovators, entrepreneurs and game changers were selected for the honor.

Today, Loyola tweeted the congratulations to the rapper, who studied music while at Loyola.  He graduated from Loyola in 2011.

In October, G Eazy came back to New Orleans to perform at VooDoo Fest.  Last year, he had a huge hit with Louisiana native Britney Spears with the song, “Make Me Oooh!”  His albums, “These Things Happen” and “When It’s Dark Out” are Billboard Hits.  He also had a huge hit single, “Me, Myself, and I,” which was released in 2016.
