NOPD looking for two missing people

NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) – The New Orleans Police Department is looking for two people who have been reported missing in the past week.

Thirty-four year old Alison Bennett was last seen in the 2700 block of Baronne at about 6:30 p.m. on October 25.

Bennett, who goes by Elise, was wearing a black t-shirt and black pants when she disappeared.

Anyone with information about Benett’s whereabouts is asked to contact Sixth District detectives at (504) 658-6060.

Across town, sixty-nine year old Melvin Webster was last seen on Paula Street walking to a nearby Dollar General store about 10:30 a.m. on October 31.

Webster, who has Alzheimer’s and dementia, was last spotted by his wife, who also reported that he has left home for several days before.
