NEW ORLEANS (WGNO)–Several races, including the race for U.S. Senate, are headed to runoffs.  That vote will be held Saturday, December 6.  The deadline to register to vote in the runoff is today, Wednesday, Nov. 5.

“We saw a strong turnout of registered Louisiana voters for yesterday’s Congressional Primary Election which is always encouraging,” said Secretary of State Tom Schedler. “I am pleased that so many citizens made an effort to vote and hope that they will do the same next month.”

Citizens can to vote online at www.GeauxVote.com; at your parish’s Registrar of Voters Office; while obtaining services at the Office of Motor Vehicles, public assistance agencies, public schools, colleges and libraries; or by mail.
