NEW ORLEANS – Four people– including a 14-year old boy– were shot in one incident in Central City.
According to a statement from NOPD Public Information Officer Danielle Miller, the teenager was grazed in the ankle, one adult man was grazed in the head, another adult man was shot in the abdomen, and an adult woman was shot in the foot.
The gunfire rang out in the 1500 block of Freret Street at about 8:30. Detectives have not released a possible motive for the shooting, or the identity of any potential suspect.
“All four victims are listed in stable condition,” said Miller in the statement, “The investigation is open and active.”
