LOS ANGELES (WGNO) — Robert Durst will be extradited to Los Angeles by August 18, 2016 for arraignment on his pending murder charge there.
The agreement was jointly filed Tuesday by the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office and Robet Durst and his lawyers in the Los Angeles County Superior Court.
The agreement was made so the charges could be moved more quickly through the court.
Robert Durst is currently being held in New Orleans on federal gun and drug charges.
His hearing scheduled for December 17 was moved to February 3rd, with a trial date set by the judge for March 28th.
