Tulane medical students shave their heads to benefit kids with cancer

New Orleans (WGNO)–Some Tulane med school students shaved their heads down to the scalp to help raise money for cancer research.

It’s part of their annual St. Baldrick’s fundraisers.

For each shaved head the group collects money to help find a cure for childhood cancers.

The event is organized entirely by first and second year medical students.

They hope to shave 40 heads and raise 40 grand.
