METAIRIE, La. (WGNO) – It’s what what Hillary Clinton supporter called “too big a coincidence.”
Nathan Schwam was inside a Metairie doctor’s office with his son about 3 o’clock this afternoon, when someone came into the office and asked who drove the Honda CR-V outside.
When Schwam walked out into the parking lot, he found that the back window of his SUV – which has noticeable bumper stickers showing support for Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton – had been vandalized. The Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s deputy who responded to the call said it appeared that someone used a BB gun to shoot out the window.
No other cars in the parking lot were targeted, and nothing was taken from Schwam’s vehicle.
Schwam, who spent time on Election Day making phone calls on behalf of Hillary Clinton, said it was “too big a coincidence” to not believe that the vandalism was tied to his support for Democratic candidates.
