It’s the biggest collection of cookbooks in the South.
More than 17,000 books are on the shelves at the library which is located in a crowded corner of New Orleans Southern Food and Beverage Museum.
Liz Williams, from the museum, is also the librarian of the library which is an official branch of the New Orleans Public Library.
More than 600 of the books come from the collection of Chef Paul Prudhomme, the cajun cooking genius.
