NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — The New Orleans Police Department hopes recently released security camera footage will help close an unsolved shooting investigation from last spring. The case is the latest one to roll on the Wheel of Justice.
According to police, the shooting happened around 4:55 in the evening on May 30 in the 4800 block of Odin Street. Security camera footage shows a four-door car arrive at the scene and a gunman step out and begin firing.
WGNO News was also there that day and recorded footage of the early stages of the NOPD investigation. According to police, a woman was shot once while inside her carport. But multiple rounds were fired, hitting at least one car as well.
