NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — The New Orleans Police Department is looking for at least two burglars who broke into some railroad box cars. The case is the latest one to roll on the Wheel of Justice.
The crime happened around 2:45 in the morning on Friday, Jan. 26 in the 550 block of France Road in the Pontchartrain Park area. The NOPD released surveillance footage that shows some of what happened.
In the video, a white pickup truck is seen pulling up to a pair of box cars. According to police, at least two people broke into the cars and loaded sheets and bundles of copper into the truck’s bed.
