Kenner police arrested 20-year-old Lana Marie Cristina on a murder charge following a death inside her home.
According to police, they were called to respond to the home, last October, when a woman was reported to be unconscious there.
They say the woman, an autopsy determined, died from a heroin overdose.
They also say Cristina confessed to providing the woman with the drugs and, under Louisiana law, will face a murder charge for her actions.
