HAMMOND, La. (WGNO) — St. Thomas More girls’ soccer defeated Ben Franklin, 6-1 in the Division II state championship game Friday night at Southeastern Louisiana University’s Strawberry Stadium.
The win marks the St. Thomas More girl’s soccer program’s 30th playoff win in a row and their seventh consecutive state championship victory.
Junior Aubrey Cassidy was named Most Outstanding Player with a hat trick.
