MARRERO, La. (WGNO) — Archbishop Shaw hosted L.B. Landry Tuesday night with the District 10-4A title on the line.
The Eagles beat the Buccaneers 56-54 back on Dec. 9, but with the district championship on the line, Shaw pulled off a more decisive victory.
Shaw beat Landry 45-32. Christian Creppel led all scorers with 18 points, going 13/14 from the free throw line, and Aiden LaSalle added 13 points on the night.
“They were trying to speed us up. That’s what they do. Just run out stuff, trust our stuff. We work on this every day,” Eagles head coach Wes Laurendine said followin the win.
