NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — The New Orleans Saints officially added a new face to the quarterback room Monday afternoon. The team announced it signed six-year NFL veteran Nathan Peterman to a one-year deal.

Peterman began his career in western New York, after the Buffalo Bills selected the quarterback in the fifth round of the 2017 NFL Draft.

The former Pitt Panther has played 15 total games across three separate stints with the Bills, Raiders and Bears.

Peterman replaced Jameis Winston in the Saints’ quarterback room, after Winston and the Cleveland Browns agreed on a one-year deal.
