HAMMOND, La. (WGNO) — Jesuit defeated Catholic of Baton Rouge, 1-0 courtesy of a golden goal in double overtime to claim the Division I state soccer title.

Jesuit junior Donnie Dovie delivered the game-winning goal in the 103rd minute. Goalkeeper Larson Klibert was named Most Outstanding Player.

The win gives the Jesuit soccer program its first state championship since 2018.
