19 years and 5 months after it opened, Zephyr Field will host its first football game Friday.
Brother Martin takes on John Curtis. Preps at Zephyr Field are almost complete.
John Curtis head coach JT Curtis said he and his team look forward to playing the first football game at Zephyr Field. Curtis said it is the perfect venue, especially for the fans.
Kickoff is 7 pm. Catholic League football at Zephyr Field is presented by WGNO.
Friday’s game is the first of an eight game schedule this fall.
The next game is Friday October 7th when Rummel takes on Holy Cross.
