Saints fullback John Kuhn knows exactly when was the last time he scored three touchdowns in a game.

“2010 against the Giants,” said Kuhn to reporters Monday in the Saints locker room. Kuhn had one receiving touchdown, and 2 rushing in a 35-34 Saints win at San Diego. With the win, the Saints avoided an 0-4 start heading to the bye week.

Kuhn usually spikes the ball after a touchdown. He didn’t after scoring the game winner against the Chargers. Why?

Drew Brees threw a pair of touchdown passes. He is now 3-0 against his former team.

Here’s Brees celebrating with Saints fans in San Diego, moments after the game.
