NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — New Orleans were hoping for a happy holiday on Thanksgiving, but what they got was a heaping helping of humility after a 31-6 loss to the Buffalo Bills (7-4) inside the Caesars Superdome on a night honoring retired Saints legend Drew Brees.

The Saints drop to 5-6 overall after having lost four straight.

The Saints were without Alvin Kamara for a third-straight week with a knee injury. Offensive tackle Ryan Ramczyk, and defensive ends Marcus Davenport and Tanoh Kpassagnon were also out.

Running back Mark Ingram, who is the team’s all-time leading rusher, also didn’t see action and neither did backup quarterback/utility player Taysom Hill who dressed for emergency use only as he is still bothered by a foot injury since returning to the lineup from concussion protocols three weeks ago.

On a brighter note, Brees made his way back to the Superdome for the first time since playing the final game of his record-setting career last January.
