Richie Mills and Ed Daniels update you as the Saints play the Vikings Christmas Day at the Superdome!
Alvin Kamara says Merry Christmas to the Minnesota Vikings with 155 yards rushing on the day and 6 touchdowns. He outscores the Vikings on his own and ties the NFL’s single-game rushing TD record. As for the defense, they held rookie WR Justin Jefferson in check for the majority of the game with only 6 catches for 85 yards on the day. Overall great performance from the Saints who most likely eliminate the Minnesota Vikings from the playoff discussion.
Saints capitalize on Irv Smith Jr’s 2nd TD of the day with a 5th… let me say that again… a 5th rushing TD from Alvin Kamara. The most in a single game since Clinton Portis in 2003. That game was also played in the month of December. Saints lead 38-27.
Alvin Kamara through the 3rd quarter: 16 carries, 130 yards and a Saints-record 4 rushing TDs
Just throwing this out there again… run the ball. Please.
Sorry I’m late to the party but just a quick observation…. feed 41. That is all. Merry Christmas!!
Merry Christmas to all! See you soon for some Saints football!
