OXFORD, Ms. (WGNO) — The Tulane Green Wave (1-2) traveled to Vaught-Hemingway Stadium Saturday to face No. 17 Ole Miss (3-0).

Tulane was looking for it’s first win over an SEC opponent since 2003, when the Green Wave defeated Mississippi State at the Superdome. But Ole Miss proved much too much for Tulane, beating the Green Wave by 40 points – 61-21.

Tulane nearly pulled off the upset against then second-ranked Oklahoma Week 1 and are coming off of a 69-20 win over Morgan State.

Check below for a running analysis of the game from the WGNO sports team led by sports director and Friday Night Football host Ed Daniels.
