New Orleans Pelicans release Summer League schedule

NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — The New Orleans Pelicans release their Summer League schedule the same day they introduce their 2024 draft class.

First-round selection, Yves Missi, and second-round addition, Antonio Reeves, are expected to headline a summer league roster that will take part in the 2K25 Summer League 2024 Summer League showcase at the University of Nevada in Las Vegas next month.

The Pelicans have also reportedly added Undrafted Free Agents, Keion Brooks Jr. and Jermaine Cousinard in the days following the 2024 NBA Draft.

Keion Brooks Jr. started his college career at Kentucky and played his final two years of basketball at Washington where he averaged 21 points per game on 46 percent shooting in 32 games last year.

Cousinard is also a proven scorer, averaging 16.7 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 3.3 assists per game last year at Oregon. Cousinard shot nearly 40 percent from the field and 34 percent from beyond the arc.

He opened the NCAA Tournament with a 40-point performance in the Ducks’ win over South Carolina on March 21st.

Cousinard is 25 years old while Brooks Jr. is 23.
